When we look at any landscape we are extracting and applying knowledge of physics, optics, algebra, meteorology and geography. We are knowing the world around us, from a strictly material perspective. It reminds us that there is no knowledge of greater relevance than that of our own strengths and weaknesses. These images are worth as a reminder of how much we can learn by looking at a landscape.
