PALMYRA, THE OTHER SIDE
A cover + 26 pages graphic novel telling a journey to Palmyra, the ancient Roman city built in the middle of the Syrian desert and destroyed by ISIS in 2014. Journalist Guillermo Abril and I traveled there in 2018 on assignment for Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin and El País Semanal.
