NO VUELVAS A ROMA (DON'T GO BACK TO ROME)
Faced with the bewilderment caused by the rapid transformation of the world in which I grew up, and in the absence of other more reliable points of reference, I decided to look to the past to try to understand a future that I am beginning to view with a certain detachment. With this in mind, I returned to the city of my childhood and youth. Don't go back to Rome is a personal account of the universal city, written with images and illustrated with words. I have spent fifty years returning to a city from which it is impossible to disengage, like those addictive loves that provoke ecstasy and tragedy in equal parts.
